Frogs, Families and Friends,

The Frogs closed out the 2008 Dual Meet Season against a strong Kingston Estates club with a bunch of best times and qualifying times. The mighty Frogs were peaking in fine form in meet number 5 against the Kingston Seals as they head into the Peach Bowl next week followed by the Tri County Championships.

Meet # 5 Highlights:

• 18 Best Individual times of the season recorded!
• 8 Best Relays swims put down!
• 17 New Qualifying events swum by Frogs who already had at least 1 qualifying time!
• Congratulations to Jillian Calandra who qualified in the Girls 11-12 50m Breast and Casey Shultz for qualifying in the Girls 8 and Under 25m Butterfly

Important Updates:

PRACTICE CHANGE STARTING THIS MONDAY – July 21

• Upcoming Practices for Peach Bowl swimmers and all Tri-County Qualifiers
• 8:00am to 9:30am - 13 and overs and some 12’s:
• 9:30am to 10:30am – 9-10s and 11-12’s
• 10:30am to 11:15am – 8 and Unders

Peach Bowl News

• Peach Bowl Swimmers entrance opens at GCIT at 3:45pm on Tuesday, July 22nd
• General admission door opens at 4:00pm
•  Warm ups start at 4:15pm
• Meet Starts at 5:30pm
• All Frogs are invited back to Greenwood Park following the meet

Frogs on the Beach

• All Frogs invited to invade the beach of Ocean City, NJ
• Team will meet up at 7th Street on Friday, July 25th
• Bring your own food and drink and hit the waves
• PLEASE CHECK WITH THE COACHES FOR TIMES AND OTHER INFO

On behalf of the Swim Team Committee and myself, I want to extend a special thanks to all timers, officials, scorers, ribbon writers, meet helpers, Team Moms, party planners, runners and all our Team Volunteers who worked hard this year for our kids to help pull off another successful and fun season. With the Peach Bowl around the corner and then Tri-Co Champs the first weekend of August – the Frogs still have some fast swimming left to do. Let’s leave it all in the pool and have a blast to close out our 2008 season. Great job to all Frogs!
